For 21 of the last 30 years, Yellow Travel has been proud to serve the people of the West Midlands and Belfast with excellence in Birmingham Airport transfers. A combined 6 million passengers on 100,000 flights have flown the combined equivalent of 22 million miles.
The airline, this month officially celebrating 3 decades of fights between the 2 major cities, has also just announced a new and exciting destination from Birmingham to Toulouse in France, traditionally the capital of the European aerospace industry.
The city, which boasts 2 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, will enjoy daily direct flights between Birmingham and Toulouse-Blagnac airports from the end of October this year. Flybe, Europe’s biggest regional airline, is the only service providing direct travel between both cities.
“Today marks a very special milestone in Flybe’s long established commitment to both Birmingham and Belfast City airports and at the same time we are announcing yet another new route to regional France,” confirmed, Vincent Hodder, Chief Revenue Officer, Flybe. “Our clear focus is on providing short, affordable regional flights, delivering unrivalled regional connectivity for local communities.”
“Happy anniversary to Flybe, our largest carrier here at Birmingham Airport,” commented, Paul Kehoe, CEO, Birmingham Airport. “To operate a reliable and consistent service between Belfast City and Birmingham for the past 30 years is impressive, proving the high demand for this service for both leisure and business travellers.”
The bustling tourism, sporting, business and cultural city of Toulouse is now just 1 hour and 50 minutes away from Birmingham and Yellow Travel will be delighted to serve Flybe’s loyal customers with Birmingham Airport taxis well into the future.
