Submit an application form, Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure (CRB) and DVLA mandate (£102)
Successfully complete the Driver Training Course and Examination, covering Road Safety, Highway Code, Disability Awareness and Licensing Conditions (£25)
Produce a Private Hire Practical Driving Test pass certificate issued by the Driving Standards Agency (£79.66 for a weekday test; £96 for a weekend test to be paid by DSA)
Following the successful completion of the above, you will be issued with a Private Hire driver license (£70 for the 12 months). If you wish to obtain a Hackney Carriage driver license, you will need to complete an additional knowledge test (£25).
